One of the reenactments during the Rabat Sacrum 2023. My father-in-law used to describe how as a boy just after World War I, he and other boys would accompany the Blessed Sacrament to sick people. As soon as they heard a certain church bell toll they would race to the church to be the first to carry either a bell or a lantern.
