Despite a lot of ribbing about my new chocolate diet (see @Padlock's entry for today) I had a great time. Photography can be quite solitary but meeting with friends to discuss the merits of lenses… we all agreed my 24-70mm was the best (stand by for comments below)… is really good fun even though my photo count for the day was about a quarter of what it would be on my own. Curry and beer was excellent and the chocolate truffles even better. Roll on our next meet-up.
@catwoman2 That would be great, there are so many more places to explore. @danette It was surprising th amount o new art in support of 'Je suis Charlie' that must only have been created in the last week. @padlock Come on, you know you're jealous of my f/2.8 (chocolates are going well BTW)!!
@creampuff I am impressed that a woman such as yourself can exercise such self control!! I, on the other hand only have 3 left (although my bag was only a quarter filled unlike yours) ;-)
It was a fun day - lucky @padlock surrounded by all us ladies! Chocolates are fantastic - I wonder if you don't need just a touch more zoom on that lens........ ;0)
