OK - so this isn't a lilac or purple image to end my week! For some reason the Sunday shots in my colour weeks do not work out to follow the theme.
This is not even a full moon but it looked very large, low in the sky and I just love the fact that you can see the craters on the top right. Not the best moon photo ever but I really enjoy taking them.
I have seen from the calendar that we will be in South America - specifically at Lake Titicaca for a almost full Red Moon on the 28th of September. Now if I could get a shot of that low in the sky reflected in the lake I will be very happy…
