As well as our walnuts ripening, the blackberries have been ripening as well. At least we have been getting to pick some of these... as well as sharing them with a flock of sparrows who live in our hedge!

I just picked blackberry´s yesterday and made jam. There are a lot of them in the park overhere and everybody is picking them.

@iiwi These are so sweet but they seem to be ripening earlier each year! When I was a child I'm sure I remember picking them in September.
