This is Gilbert’s ‘state of the art’ run that Colin has built. It has a house at one end with two compartments with sand and dry earth in it and the run has rocks and branches for him to climb over as they need things of interest in their play area. His favorite food is watercress and rocket and he has a special supplement on a lettuce leaf each day. He is only outside during the day as we have another house for him in the garage which is a bit warmer and has a special UVA/UVB heat lamp for wet days when he cannot go out. Whoever said tortoises are as high or as low maintenance as you want them to be?!
