After the brief interlude of good weather, we are back to a August Bank Holiday of solid rain. This combined with the the high spring tides created by the recent full moon caused localised flooding around the Lock.

Here the Thames has broken its banks and flooded into the recreation ground at Manor Road. The wrought iron fence marks the point at which the river is normally below.
Oh dear, this is reminiscent of last year's floods. Hope the water recedes quickly. Great comp and pov in this capture, though.
