Today was a special day as not only was it a full moon, it was also a ‘Strawberry Moon’. The day that it is a full moon which falls on the Summer Solstice which hasn’t happened for nearly seventy years.
I had planned this to be my photo for today but unfortunately it was pretty cloudy. When the sky was clearer the moon was low in he sky below the levels of the treeline. As it rose into view, the clouds blew across so this is the best I could get.
