2nd July 2016

Today's the day - the official wedding ceremony of my sister Hester and her fiancé. It meant another outfit and the day started with absolutely torrential rain as we went to collect Mum and Ian.

However, the weather picked up and the ceremony was lovely. Hester and Brian had chosen the Cruck Barn at the Craven Arms in Appletreewick which is an amazing reconstruction of a fourteenth century barn.

Luckily Hester had asked her friend and her partner to be the official photographers so I got to wear an outfit not spoilt by a massive camera. This is not a great shot and I'm looking forward to seeing Jo's photos. However this is Hester and Brian signing their declaration and looking really happy.

It was a brilliant day apart from some minor family issues (all immediate family present and correct). Great ceremony, food and ceilidh dancing later in the evening.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs (surnames to be decided!).
