Today late in the morning the entire front of the ouse was supported on just a few metal ‘acpro’ props! I’ll admit that I escaped for half an hour to pick up some documents from the local Landmark Centre for my upcoming show in November to get away from the noise. We started to put the office back together and upstairs in the house is looking a bit more civilised now.
However, the job is finished and the house is now quiet. The job looks very good although I am getting used to the rather plasticy look of the porch. Unfortunately we have the wrong door - the correct one with clear glass is being replaced next week! This is the interesting effect of late afternoon sunlight and our privet hedge on the frosted glass.
