This morning it was back into Kingston for Colin to but a last few bits and bobs for Finland (I got another two thick pairs of socks from Cotswolds). I skipped ‘Fat Fighters’ after damage done with birthday chocolates and instead we used our last voucher for a free hot drink and cake in John Lewis and had a scone with jam and cream.
We also stocked up on some euros - the rate has risen a little but nowhere near past rates of 1.50 - now we were lucky to get 1.12!
These are the flowers that Colin got me for my birthday which are now opening nicely in the warmth of the house. They are alstroemerias which always last for ages.
