2nd March 2018

After a bitterly cold and wet start to the day and no overnight snow, as forecast the snow started at just after midday.

Knew that based on forecasts this would be the last chance I had to get any snowy photos for future Christmas cards. It was a matter of timing, too early and not enough snow, too late and what snow there was may have melted or been trodden in. Despite the snow I decided to take the car which was ‘interesting’ siding out of Cambridge Road.

However, today was the most productive of my three attempts in Richmond and with a little cloning to hide patches of salt and brightening I’ve got a few contenders - especially the telephone boxes on Richmond Green! This really was a case of third time lucky and goes to show that it takes a lot of work to get a single image for cards that is just right.
