We popped into the Landmark to check how things are going before I’m on duty tomorrow. Yet again it has been pouring with rain so we sheltered until our bus was due to arrive at the bus stop opposite.
We met our friends in Twickenham to try out the new Italian restaurant in Church Street. The food was surprisingly good and with a lot of complimentary drinks, we were ‘rather inebriated’ by the end of the meal. Colin’s favourite after dinner spirit is Sambucca (complete with coffee bean) and here it is whilst lit. We managed to escape at the end of the meal as our friends had plans to continue drinking at theirs but as I have to get up tomorrow morning for my session on the front desk at the Landmark I needed to recover.
