22nd July 2018

I’m trying to get used to the big gap in the garden where the Christmas tree was!

Wash day today and with this heat I can dry two loads in just a few hours. As it was the ‘Open’ golf at Carnoustie Colin was glued to the television (Molinari won - the first Italian to do so) but later in the afternoon we wandered down to Teddington Lock for a breath of fresh air. Later in the evening we were lucky to get a tip off about the International Space Station passing over at 10.37 and despite a bit of high cloud we clearly saw it pass over some 260 miles away.
