After the excitement of yesterdays journey and there final big reveal to Mum of our trip to Florence in the Autumn, she was out in the morning with friends. My first task of the day was to check and send all the emails ad attachments that I had drafted on the train down yesterday. Once my work part of the day was complete and it did take some time, I decided to walk to Newlyn with the camera as Ian was busy in his workshop.
Needless to say, despite starting sunny and a nice wander on the beach at low tide, the weather took a turn and I was soon sheltering in the lea of the seawall wondering whether to go back to the house. Luckily it was short live and dried up so I could make it to Newlyn and watch the Turnstones on the harbour wall.
I got back for lunch and Mum arrived back a little later in the afternoon and is developing a cold which I am trying to fend off with my trusty bottle of ‘First Defence’.
