First task of the day was to try and sort out the fact that our four return flights have been cancelled with no explanation at all from BA. After twenty minutes on hold with awful music, I finally got to speak to someone. It took well over an hour to firmly clarify the flights I wanted to book and especially frustrating as I was looking at flights on my laptop which for some reason the woman’s system was not displaying. The situation is more stressful as Mum and Ian are off again on another trip they have booked on Monday so I don’t want any other delays as they have to drive from ours on Sunday to Stanstead airport for an early Monday morning flight. I demanded a confirmation email which I now have so fingers crossed for no more changes.
Rubbish weather for the rest of today so after making a lemon cake fo afternoon tea tomorrow, I spent most of the rest of the day on the computer!
