Today I finally managed to finish the Christmas cards and discovered that despite ordering another thousand envelopes, I was just six short so I had to order another 500!
After lunch it was a hair cut for Colin which started in the back garden but then moved to the bathroom as the heavens opened and - totally not forecast - we had a downpour with thunder and lightning followed by a stunning rainbow.
I decided to treat us to a roast dinner this evening as I had bought a Turkey leg from the reduced section in Tescos a couple of days ago! This was going well until I burnt myself really badly on my forearm… looks like a third degree burn so I am hoping it will heal OK.
