In the morning I had the glamorous task of shifting the fridge in the kitchen and somehow managing to edge myself around to the back. I was checked the cab lick an dsockets for the light which appeared not to be working on Friday when we had the barbecue. After that I braved cutting off the damaged wallpaper from where we had the leak and cleaning it up a bit with a view to relating it in the next couple of days. The good news is that it is not nearly as bad as feared and even though the repair will be visible, it shouldn’t look too bad!
DIY over and it was onto cooking. I knocked up a lemon flan to take over to Chris and Monika’s house tomorrow as we have been invited for lunch, then i made another banana loaf with some pretty mouldy looking bananas before finishing up picking these blackberries - the first crop from our garden bramble bushes in the hedge.
