19th February 2013

On my ‘must see’ list for Burma are three things which included catching the sunset view over the temples of Bagan - tick (16th February) and sunset at U Bein bridge - tick (today). This is the longest teak wood bridge in the world, actually it is probably the only teak bridge. Despite having no sides and many of the wooden slats being broken and split, it is the main crossing point across the Taungthaman Lake.

As the day gets later, the sun starts to set, the colour changes and anyone walking across the bridge becomes beautifully silhouetted against the yellow/orange sky. This is just one out of over 130 I took!
Fabulous image its a fav, love the hue love the silhouettes love the composition
