A trip into Kingston today to get my trusty MacBook Air looked at as the fan has been running overtime yet it still gets hot. The staff are so good in the Apple shop and with a few diagnostics run and some techie stuff it seems for the moment to have cured the problem (something to do with the CPU? No idea really!!).

I keep meaning to get a good shot of this statue in the Market Place. I have always thought it was Queen Victoria but I have discovered that this statue is actually of Queen Anne and was created by Francis Bird in 1706. Unbelievable as it has been re-gilded I had no idea it is actually over 300 years old. This might have to feature on greeting cards for Kingston in the year to come!
She really stands out against the stonework of the building. Impressive viewed large.

Wonderful pov. Glad her late majesty has been re-gilded!
