10th September 2013

Our last day in Grand Teton National park as we drive up to Yellowstone. The journey is only about 115 miles but with views like this it took most of the day to get there.

This is ‘just another view’ along the Wyoming Centennial Byway of the Oxbow Bend Turnout The Grand Tetons in all their glory - Grand Teton, Middle Teton, Mount Moran and Mount Owen complete with glaciers and reflected perfectly in still waters shortly before a couple of ducks and a jumping fish ruined the effect! I know it looks super-saturated, but it really was this colour.
That is beautiful, wonderful reflections

What a gorgeous view to contemplate, and you`ve captured it magnificently. The reflections are so close to perfect that if you look at it vertically it`s like a Rorschach ink blot.

With views like that, it would take me days to go 115 miles!
