27th November 2013

Another view of the Teddington to Richmond railway line. Check out the autumnal colours compared to early June ( http://365project.org/emmadurnford/365/2013-06-01).

I'm hoping for a more interesting subject tomorrow as it is Teddington 'Lights On' evening when the Christmas lights are officially switched on and there is a historical costume theme!
Looks like fall has barely hit your parts!

Very nice comparison. I check them out side by side.

@helixconcepts It is strange but we've had some yellow trees but very few of those lovely red ones you have in Canada. Unfortunately a lot of the leaves blew off in a storm a couple of weeks ago so I think this is it for our Autumn colours. We were supposed to have an exceptional year but I've not noticed any difference - not a patch on Quebec and Ontario!!

We did have a really beautiful fall here in southern Ontario, some years it's not as spectacular. Perhaps you'll have a more colourful one next year. In the meantime, the soft colours still have their own beauty.

Well compared to here, where everything is all white, it seems quite colorful there ;)
It's always a bummer when the leave blow away in a storm before you really get a chance to enjoy them.

I Like the railway photo the way the track disappears out of site in the distance. Also it is a great place to compare the foliage changes. I have done several of these type of compare photos but have not been disciplined enough to get into the same spot. The other thing that would be good for this type of repeated shot would be to put them together and play in a sequenced video type format. guess you would need 12 or more to make it really effective.
