My name is Sophie. I'm 13 years old. I still believe I'm a puppy, even though my back legs have been collapsing a lot lately, I can't see very well and I'm almost completely deaf. I still really love to be with my people, though, and my failing body won't stop me from trying to lure people to throw my ball for me!
Such a beautiful expression! We have an elderly dog with arthritis. It's heartening to see him still love to play, and heartbreaking to see it when he can't.
Sophie, you are beautiful! This pic tugs my heartstrings....our first pup had legs that started to give out at about age 12, it absolutely broke my heart when she couldn't do stairs anymore. She passed away about 4 years ago and I miss her so! Wonderful capture!
