I like the b/w, light ray and the composition ---- I have to agree with @brianarmoured with bring her a little closer. She gets a little lost among the big trunks.
Quite an interesting idea you had here - I wouldn't have noticed (not enough experience I guess) the suggested change, but do think it might be a good thing to try. Love the light rays.
Love the idea and the light and the processing. I might have changed the composition to make the woman (you?) less central, but perhaps not. There are some pictures in which it works to have the main subject at the centre, and this may be one of them.
