This morning we were awoken by our 16 week old Barnevelder rooster, who "outed" himself with a loud crow at sunrise. He just went to the farm, since we aren't allowed roos in our neighborhood. Since I'm a total newbie at this chicken-keeping business, now I'm wondering about our other two chickens. This one is a Silkie. I just assumed it was a female, but I have no idea. Anyone know?
