Upon awaking we went to the hostel people to ask for advice about things to do. They suggested going to Punta Loma where you can see a bunch of sea lions etc. We were showed the place on a map and told to bike or take a cab. We said we wanted to go for a walk. The hostel guy said this was not the thing to do cause it was about 11 miles. We also met a lady at the hostel who informed us not to bike there cause it was actually rather difficult. We thanked her and assured her we would not.
So we set off on the beach to go for a brief walk and miss out on Punta Loma. We wandered rather slowly and collected shells and sea glass. Eventually, we decided we should prbly turn back. But we didn't want to do that. It had been a few hours so we assumed we must be near the Loma place. So we decided to keep walking.
We were nowhere close.
Six hours later we made it.
The ranger at Punta Loma was very nice though and invited us into his house and gave us water and told us we were crazy.
It was a nice day.
