I covered a drive to collect sports equipment for low-income children. The event was held in honor of Jessica Ghawi, a victim of the 2012 Aurora Theater shooting, who was an aspiring sports reporter.

It was Jessica's dream to supply sports equipment for kids who couldn't afford it.
And now the dream has come true.
It basically just made me want to cry the whole day.
Everyone there was so lovely and nice.
A real blessing.
