Today I covered the state wresting tournament.
Which was about the most intense sporting event ever.
It was HUGE.
I have never seen this many people show up for a high school sporting event.
And these boys were intense.
I have never seen kids react with such extreme joy at winning or devastation at losing.
I would walk down the hallway back behind the mats and there were boys literally sobbing in the fetal position after they lost a match.
Broke my heart.
I really just wanted to go find all of their moms and bring them to them.
