I pulled over to photograph Annie as we left St Ives for Bath. She is a sweet wee girl with a special story to tell. She was rescued from hare coursing after being found starving and near death in a field, and bonded so closely with another greyhound while in foster care that her new family adopted both of them. What lovely people!
Annie has been DNA tested as they realised she was not a purebred greyhound, and the results came back as a cross between greyhound, saluki, lurcher.... and french bulldog! Truly you could not see that last bit at all.
She is very shy, hence the head collar and harness for walks, but her owner passed over a treat for me to give her so she decided I was pretty okay :-)
