Sagrada Familia - "My client is not in a hurry."

Fillers for the rest of June - I just didn't pick the camera up for a while after having it as my constant companion for two months

Antoni Gaudi's design of the Sagrada Familia includes 18 spires representing in ascending order of height the Twelve Apostles, the Virgin Mary, the four Evangelists and, tallest of all, Jesus Christ. They are still being completed, and this photo shows two of the apostle spires on the side of the Passion facade. Although they are partially wrapped as part of the construction work, I still really like this shot.

Construction began in 1882. Gaudi joined the project in 1883 but died in 1926 when it was barely 25% complete. On the subject of the extremely long construction period, he is said to have remarked: "My client is not in a hurry."
