Abandoned

As we enjoyed taking our last day of summer afternoon drive yesterday we came across this abandoned church which left us saddened. As with any building no longer in use one asks the question "why?" Why is there no longer any use or purpose for these buildings? Why is NEW so much more appealing to others. So many questions with so few answers.

it is sad sometimes that young & new are valued above history. We have the 2nd oldest high school in Canada founded in 1792 and they are closing it so kids can go to a more modern school.
