Bygone era

This photo actually fills me with a sense of sadness. I was working with it in color which did nothing for the story it invokes in my mind. I look at it and have so many unanswered questions. Hopefully the family that once inhabited this house (I cannot bring myself to refer to it as a home) departed with a sense of hope.
