We just returned from buying mums to set out. We bought from the Graber's last year but they have expanded extensively. When we turned into their driveway we saw a new produce stand. In addition they had added a new field with 3500 mums. Yes, you read that correctly!
Well they my eschew the artifacts of a modern lifestyle... but not when it comes to business! You've cpatured the spirit of this nicely... I would love to shop here.
What are 'mums'? To me it is a name for a mother! The food stand reminds me of images from New England, so different form what I might see in the UK, my own country!
In the U.S. most of us refer to chrysanthemums as Mums (much easier to spell)
