Two ladies

I like the symmetry and the walk synchronization. When I made the shot, I thought that the construction works in the background would ruin the picture, but when looking at it now, I find that they add one more point of interest that attracts the eye into the area between the two persons. I think that my initial lack of comfort with the works was also due to the sawing and hammering noises, which have of course disappeared in the picture now.

This works well in black and white. It emphasizes the graying of the subjects. The textures and patterns are highlighted in black and white, also.

I like this b&w street shot - I agree with you that the older people work well contrasted with the workmen (I usually process street shots as b&w)

It looks as if the two elderly people are walking toward the repair shop to be repaired, or perhaps dismantled?
