This person looked like closed on herself, haunted by dark worries and not opened to the light suurounding her. I converted the person to b&w, but saved the other colours around. The horizontal grey-ish strip across the picture is in natural colour, an area of water left by the receding tide.
I like your placement of the subject for the mood of your composition. Normally, we would want to leave room in the frame for the subject to move into. By having your subject walking out of the frame it gives the desired feeling of wanting to leave.
