Each of these white-ish boulders is around 1 meter wide, so weights more than a ton. And still, this whole boulder field was created over one single night in January 2014 by the combination of an exceptionally powerful storm and of a very large tide amplitude. The waves took away boulders that were buried in the sand and carried them atop a cliff that is several meters high, above the regular high tide level.
