Fake horizon - curious effect by etienne

Fake horizon - curious effect

At first glance, you have probably thought that the horizon is in the middle of the image. If you look more carefully, you will notice that the sea actually goes beyond that line, up to the true horizon which is barely discernable higher in the picture as the sea and the sky have almost the same colour. The fake horizon is created by a small patch of wind on the quiet water surface.
An interesting effect

That is quite an illusion. On first glance, I totally thought the horizon was in the middle. Interesting shot.
