These are the small plastic rowboats that people use in order to board or to unboard their main boat in the harbour at high tide.
Each year over Brittany, there are still several drowning casualties in the short embarking/disembarking trips from/to the shore, although safety has increased since people are using these plastic boats with a flat bottom.
