As you can see from this shot, we had snow last week! I took this on Rampart Range Road just west of Colorado Springs. There was still some residual snow up on the dirt road. I decided to get up there today to capture more aspen shots before the wind blows the leaves away. That is Pikes Peak covered with snow in the background.
Beautiful shot. It has a lot of good things going on. I like the contrast between the snow peak, green tree line, and the aspens on the road. Well done.
I love the contrast between the snow and the aspens. And the blue sky! We had our first snow on the hills yesterday and there is more forecast. We're hearing it's going to be an early and particularly cold winter!!
