As a landscape photographer, I position myself at a scene at least 30-45 minutes before sunrise. As I set up my tripod, I take a few long exposure shots, sizing up the view in front of me, anticipating the sun coming up over the horizon, filling the leaves with golden light. It's this anticipation that gets me up out of my warm bed, to bask in the fleeting moments as the sun creates the artistic balance of light!
I wonder you take such lovely photos. I love the idea, but not only is it impossible to do when you have children to sort but the idea of walking up a hill in the dark and then the conditions not being right does not appeal. One day... Meanwhile I shall enjoy your captures. :-)
