This is a panorama from 3 different horizontal shots, overlapped and merged in Photoshop. This glacier is massive and I was trying to show that in this pano. The beauty of this area is incredible, but the sounds are just as amazing. There are cracking sounds from the glacier shifting and if you are lucky you can see a section of the glacier break off in what is called calving. While shooting this panorama, I was lucky enough to capture a calving event seen in the lower left of the glacier! Such a sight to see!
