Taken at the top of Shrine Pass during sunset a few weeks ago. I was amazed at the plethora of wildflowers on the mountainside. The paintbrush were just spectacular this year! It's so much to absorb as the sun sets and the flowers light up, shining with brilliance before the night sets in. Such a beautiful night and so much fun hiking back to the car with just our headlamps!
@exposure4u It's beautiful. We're always on the lookout for new places to visit and hike. We did Mammoth a few weeks ago and the flowers were blooming but not nearly as vibrantly as this!
