This monster of a raccoon was nibbling safflower seed on the ground (from the feeder he/she probably knocked down earlier in the week). You might not get a sense of scale from this photo, but it was the largest raccoon that I have ever seen. No need to comment on the photo quality. It was taken with my small camera and is rather grainy.
