Pushing for Spring by falcon11

Pushing for Spring

It looks like spring may arrive a bit early here in CT. Last week's 9 inches of snow has all melted, and I discovered these daffodil shoots in the yard today. Usually the daffodils peak around April 15, so we may be way off schedule this year. Winter is far from over though. . .
Wow! What a surprise. Those must be some well established daffodils.

so cool...love the earthiness of this picture...But watch out,if they are tricked into blooming too early they sometimes get killed off by frost or snow

I love the first bulbs of the season. My plants are confused here too, my oak trees have produced acorns a couple of months early, making the birds very happy

An optimistic image - and beautifully taken. I especially enjoy the drops of rain/snowmelt decorating the new growth.
