Timeless

I spotted this old wagon wheel outside of a deli in East Haddam, CT where I had gone with a friend to look for bald eagles on the CT River. We spotted one eagle on a nest way up river, but it was too far for photographing.

The reason why we always carry a camera - you never know where a really interesting photo op will turn up. This made a neat picture with the contrast in textures.

cool find, allison! about three weeks ago, we saw two bald eagles snacking on a deer carcass on the ice-covered river in front of our house. They were way too far away to get a shot with our camera. Great to see with the binoculars tho. i'm sure you'll find yours
