Another view of my childhood home. It started out as a 4 room log cabin which my parents purchased in the late 1940s. Their families thought they were crazy moving so far out into the countryside, but now this type of rural property is much envied. Best viewed large.
@aspada There is a lot of glacial rock on the property including a "split rock" that we could shimmy through as kids. Plus, a 1/4 acre pond with a zipline over it. Yes, we had a lot of fun.
What a perfect spot to retreat to! It's so inviting looking even to an adult - can't imagine how much fun it was when you were little. Has expanded some from the 4 rooms I gather.
