The View From Here

I had hoped to be able to get out into the street and post a photo of the huge piles of snow, but our driveway is still not plowed out this afternoon. CT has been declared a disaster area and after watching the plow struggling to clear 3 feet of snow I can see why. Luckily the plow was followed by a pay loader who very nicely dumped a 6 foot pile of snow at the end of my driveway. Spring can't come soon enough for me.
This does make an interesting contrast of seasons - almost like they're looking wishfully outside. Poor thinking on their part. Stay warm and keeping looking at those pretty Spring flowers. Like the light showing through them.

Wonderful shot. Love how the light hits the flowers.

Has it stopped snowing yet? Your photo has a lovely glad-to-be-indoors quality about it, and the daffs are so pretty.

@janturnbull Yes, the snow has stopped, but it is taking days for us to dig out. The snow is so deep-- nearly 3 feet, that the plows are taking a very long time, or are getting stuck and are being followed by a pay loader so the excess snow can be picked up and dumped. We haven't left the house since Thursday evening. There is no school and most businesses are still closed.

Ugh, I remember those days living in Michigan. Six feet of snow in the driveway...joy! Nice that you have daffys in the house to make you feel better.
