Project Puffin

While in Boothbay Harbor, we took a 2 1/2 hour boat ride out about 20 miles to Eastern Egg Rock to see puffins! "The National Audubon Society started Project Puffin in 1973 in an effort to learn how to restore puffins to historic nesting islands in the Gulf of Maine."
