My son took me on a vigorous hike this afternoon to Lost Lake, which you can see in my extras album: http://365project.org/falcon11/extras/2013-11-23. This scene, along the trail, is typical of much of the Connecticut woodlands, which are dotted with glacial rocks. We were surprised to see this group of green ferns so late in the season. Best viewed large.
