I took a walk at Chaffinch Island Park this evening for the first time this season. It was calm and beautiful. I think this is a Willet. I don't know my water birds as well as the woodland birds.
But you sure know the time of day to shoot! This is spectacular! I love that light. And caught him in a wonderful spot for his picture. Beautiful detail on his markings.
