This is the kayak storage area at Jacob's Beach. I had some other much better shots but my cell phone weirdly cropped them and I lost everything. Not sure how that happened. I much prefer shooting with my DSLR, but it is hard to lug to the beach.
This still shows all the bright colors against that beautiful sky. - I don't think I'd trust bringing my big camera to a beach unless I was just passing through.
That's a big bummer about your milkweed plants - mine didn't do well, but I guess there was enough to attract them.
